Creating Email Templates in Salesforce

Go to setup and then enter the email templates in the provided quick find box and after that just select the email templates. This step can only be used if you have the permission to edit the public templates.

 

In cases, where you don’t really have the required permission to edit public templates, you should simply go to the personal settings where you will need to enter the templates in the given Quick Findbox, after that you should just select the basic Email Templates.

-Click on the New Template -Choose from the given Text template type. After that click Next -Choose a single folder where you would like to store a template. -Select from the available checkbox. Do this only if you want this particular template to be offered to the users while sending a basic email.  

Enter an available name for the Email Template.

When necessary, you should just change the unique name of the Template. In those managed packages, the unique name averts the naming conflicts that may arise on installation of packages. The name can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores. The names must be exclusive in your institute. The name must begin with nothing but a letter. It should not include any spaces and should not end with any underscore.

 

After these, just select a setting for Encoding to decide the template’s character set.

Then, enter a basic explanation for the given template. Both those template names as well as the description are meant only for internal use.

Put the Subject for the intended message.

Then, enter the basic text which is to be appeared in the main message.

After that, simply click Save and start to send mass email in Salesforce.
